Tile Tech does not simply install floors, we co-ordinate the picture with related products such as wall coverings, countertops and accessories. We use only the finest materials from companies such as Sarana Tiles, Kronotex, and Laurentian Hardwood Flooring at the best possible prices.

Owner Profile
Tile Tech's proprietor, Frank Maggio, has worked in the flooring industry for over 15 years. Frank has become fully proficient in the flooring trade as a result of spending many years apprenticing as a ceramic tile setter and flooring installer and from several years of independent contracting. Frank's invaluable practical experience is complemented with several academic achievements, which include a business administration degree from Bishop's University.

Frank's business degree assisted his ascension through the administrative and managerial ranks of Nortel Networks, which subsequently became Sanmina-SCI. Originally starting as a Production Specialist in 1996, by 2000 Frank eventually became the Customer Service and Contract Administrative Manager for all of the Nortel accounts at the Sanmina-SCI site in Brockville, Ontario. Surprisingly, despite his more than full-time commitment at Sanmina-SCI, Frank still managed to improve his flooring installation skills while performing jobs at night and on weekends. As one can readily observe, an early start in the family flooring business has left Frank with a great appreciation and passion for the flooring industry.

The combination of Frank's "show how" and "know how" ability with his business degree, managerial experience and established customer-relation skills has enabled Frank to develop the business acumen necessary to operate a successful and credible business in the community.
